FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This sheet of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) will attempt to answer any questions you might have about our facility, memberships, and general information. How do I register for programs or classes?

You can register at the front desk or online.  You will need to have your email address on file at Super Fitness and your account number to get started.  If you need help with this please see the information center.


What should I bring when I come to workout?

You should bring your membership number, a workout towel, a water bottle, a change of clothes, and appropriate shoes.


Can I bring a friend to workout with me?

You are encouraged to bring prospective members to try Super Fitness by using the free guest passes  you received when you joined.  Non-Super Fitness members are welcome to use Super Fitness by paying the current guest pass fee.


How do I set an appointment for my first few workouts?

We want you to get started properly by having a trainer set you up on your own program. The club has individual and group workouts available to help you learn the basics of doing your first workout program. Everyone has different degrees of experience, so we tailor your workouts and the number you need according to your individual needs. To schedule your workouts and to find out what help you may need, ask any trainer or stop by the information center. Please keep the appointments you set, since last-minute cancellations or no-shows are hard on the staff scheduling and your fellow members who desire help.


How do I get a locker when I visit the fitness center?

Lockers are first come, first serve, but we have plenty available.  You need to bring your own lock.  If you forgot your lock, stop at the information center and we will lend you one.  Our locker rooms are very nice and have a full shower area.



Do you offer babysitting?

Absolutely! We welcome all members to utilize our Kids Club. We recently expanded our Kids Club AND extended our Kids Club hours. Please spread the word and enjoy knowing your kids will be having fun while you are working out. Working out is a family thing so set the example. Babysitting is included with our Gold Membership. Parents must stay in the building while their children are in Kids Club and children may be left for no longer than 2 hours.  Please do not bring sick children into the Kids Club.

Do you have a lost and found?

We do have a lost and found. Please stop by the information center. Super Fitness is not responsible for any lost/stolen items.


Do you offer tanning?

Yes, we have a state of the art tanning facility. As a member of super fitness you receive significant savings on tanning packages. Visit our tanning section for further information.


How to offer suggestions or register a complaint?

We welcome suggestions and complaints and even have a system set up so you feel comfortable about complaining. If you didn’t care, then you wouldn’t take the time to let us know. If you have a suggestion or complaint, there are comment boxes located in each locker room, as well as our lobby entrance. If it’s something that you feel is too serious for a comment card, see one of the managers immediately.

How do I clean off machines at the fitness center?

Bring your own towels or towels are provided at cleaning stations. There are spray bottles located throughout the facility to use to clean machines after use. These may be used to wipe machines down after use. There are laundry bins located throughout Super Fitness where the towels can be returned.


If I am traveling, can I use my membership to Super Fitness other places?

Did you know we are affiliated with thousands of health clubs across the nation?  Please check out www.healthclubs.com and search the location you will be traveling.  If there is a location please see the information center and get a passport to visit the fitness center.


What is Silver Sneakers and how does it work?

Silver Sneakers is a program provided by your insurance. Ask your provider directly about the program to see if you are eligible. The insurance coversyour entire membership and/or will reimburse an amount based on your qualifications. Feel free to ask a membership specialist if you have any questions. There are always specific classes offered on our aerobic schedule for Silver Sneakers program. Silver Sneakers have full access to the facility and are welcome to partake in not only silver sneakers classes but any of the others that are offered. If I have a Silver Sneakers card can I work out at any facility in the area?

Yes.  You may work out at any facility that offers Silver Sneakers and are not limited to just one facility.


Can I bring my own personal trainer to the gym?

Unfortunately, no. Our own certified personal trainers would be happy to help you with any of your needs!


Does your facility include a pool?

We do not offer a pool on-site.  As a member, you have the ability to utilize the pool at the Hampton Inn in New Philadelphia. You must be 18 or older and have an active membership. Stop by the front desk at either hotel and they will verify your membership status with a simple phone call to us.


What should I do if a piece of equipment is broken or an area of the gym is dirty?

Our first priority is keeping the gyms as clean and functional as possible. Please visit the front desk of the gym and report your concern so it may be addressed.


What is the facility improvement fee?

In an effort to continually be upgrading amenities and equipment in Super Fitness, we’ve instituted an annual Facility Improvement Fee (FI Fee). 100% of that money is used to purchase new and upgraded exercise machines, add amenities to our club, and purchase new fitness equipment for the workout floor, weights area, aerobics area, and spinning.


How old do you have to be to workout in Super Fitness?

A parent can sign for a child at the age of  12-15 years, but the guardian must be with them when working out. Youth 16 and Over may use Super Fitness without adult supervision. Youth 12-14 may still workout while being supervised by a responsible adult.  Orientations are available and recommended for all members.  Call Super Fitness to schedule an orientation. Anyone misusing the equipment may be asked to leave.


Can I take pictures inside Super Fitness?

Carrying of and the use of photographic equipment including cell phones is prohibited in all locker rooms, dressing areas, and rest rooms.  Violation of this policy will result in the termination of membership privileges.  The use of photographic equipment in other areas of the Super Fitness is permissible with the approval of the Manager.


What is Route250?

Route250 is located inside of Super Fitness; in the back of our facility. The mission of Route250 is to be committed to providing our community with a clean, comfortable, state-of-the-art facility operated by courteous, and knowledgeable staff. We pride ourselves in bringing the community a fitness facility with exceptional service, and a motivating staff.
